Register to Vote

REGISTER TO VOTE

Town Residents may come to the Town Office during regular business hours to, register to vote, make changes to their current enrollment status, name or address. 

You must bring a photo ID and proof of residency.

The registrar has the exclusive power to revise and maintain the voting list. Petitions containing signatures of Frenchville voters should also be presented to the registrar for verification.

 ABSENTEE VOTING:

Ways to vote Absentee:

     1. When we have a ballots in hand, come to the town office and vote in the presence of the Clerk. 

     2. If we do not have ballots in hand, you may request an absentee ballot be mailed to you by: 

               A. Coming in and filling out an application. 
               B. Calling us to request a ballot by mail. 
               C. Using the Maine Online Absentee Ballot Request Service to request a ballot by mail.  
 
         THE DEADLINE TO REQUEST AN ABSENTEE BALLOT IS 7 DAYS BEFORE THE ELECTION. 

         ABSENTEE BALLOTS MUST BE RETURNED/RECEIVED NO LATER THAN THE CLOSE OF POLLS ON ELECTION DAY.
