The heart of any thriving community is its infrastructure, and here in Frenchville, our Public Works Department is the force that keeps our town running smoothly. Our team, led by Public Works Foreman Eric Blanchette, is committed to maintaining and enhancing the very fabric of our town’s roads, sewer systems, and public spaces.

Comprehensive Road and Maintenance Services 

Our responsibility spans 27 miles of road maintenance, ensuring safe and passable streets regardless of the season. From the heat of summer to the chill of winter, our diligent crew is on the job, mowing, plowing, sanding, and performing town-wide cleanups to keep Frenchville beautiful and functional.

Dedicated Team and Robust Fleet 

With a dedicated team of three full-time employees, including our director and two hardworking laborers, we have a hands-on approach to public works. Our fleet, equipped with modern plow gear, sanders, and other essential machinery, is ready to tackle any challenge, reinforcing our commitment to the community.

Community Support and Assistance 

Our services cover a wide range, supporting other Town departments and contributing to the team effort that makes Frenchville a place we’re proud to call home. Roadside maintenance and fleet management are just a couple of ways we work to serve you better.
